Thursday 20^th My postcards from Jake finally arrived this morning. It’s a good job they did or I wouldn’t have been able to read them until I got back from Holland. (I’ve stuck them over the page.)

It was the last day of college today but I’ve been left with tonnes of coursework to get on with over the “holidays”! We finished early today so I came home to pack for tonight when I leave for Holland. I’m getting really excited now but I know the coach journey’s going to seem to take forever and I won’t get much sleep (if any!) so I’ll look a complete state when I get off at the other end! I hope Jake will be there though.

He’s asked me to bring my nail varnish cos he’s only got a bit left on his nail and also my Poppy body spray cos the smell of it on his watch strap’s wearing off. I think I’d better take my nail varnish remover and all cos if he gets drunk, he’ll let me put it on and then regret it the next morning!

He was telling me before that he’s going into Amsterdam tonight because it’s Charlie’s and Ali’s last chance to pull and Charlie reckons he’s feeling lucky! He also told me that he can’t stay in our hotel cos there’s no room so he’s booked into a hostel or something in Maastricht which he said is only 10 minutes away on the train.

He sent me 2 messages after that saying, “I GET TO SEE YOU TOMORROW! : ) : ) : ) SORRY – IT LOOKS BETTER WHEN I WRITE IT IN A MSG! : ) CAN YOU TELL HOW HAPPY N VERY EXCITED I AM BY THE NUMBER OF SMILEY FACES??…” and then, “COS I’M SOOO EXCITED!!! LOVE YOU TO BITS!!! : ) : ) : ) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx J xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx : ) : ) : )”. Do you think he put enough kisses?!

I then told him (jokingly) that it’s his last night to pull too but he said, “CHEEK – YOU KNOW I’M NOT OUT TO PULL AND I DON’T WANT TO EITHER! : ) WAY TOO HAPPY TO EVEN LOOK AT ANYONE ELSE! : ) I THOUGHT IT WAS AT LEAST 7PM BEFORE – THEN I LOOKED AT MY WATCH AND IT’S ONLY 4PM! CAN’T BELIEVE HOW SLOW IT’S GOING! 24 HOURS AND WE’LL BE TOGETHER! : ) LOVE YOU! : ) xxx J xxx”.

I’ve decided that from now on, when I get a continuing message, I’ll just write it down as if it’s one.

A bit later on he said, “REALLY REALLY REALLY CAN’T WAIT! YOU WILL TEXT ME WHEN YOU’RE ALL ON THE COACH WON’T YOU?! I’M JUST WALKING ROUND – THEY’RE LOOKING FOR SOME DODGY COFFEE HOUSES! WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?? I’M SOOO EXCITED! – THIS HAS BEEN SO HORRIBLE! AND TOMORROW IT’LL ALL BE OVER – CAN’T WAIT! REALLY DO LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH! xJx”.

I agreed that it’s been horrible and stuff and then he said, “UURRGGHH! JUST WANT TO GET ON THAT TRAIN NOW! AT THEY VERY LEAST I SHOULD SEE YOU IN THE EVENINGS… SHOULDN’T I?? GONNA WANT TO BE WITH YOU ALL THE TIME! CAN’T PUT IN THIS OR ANY OTHER MSG HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!!! COS I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS! : ) YOU MAKE ME SOOO HAPPY! : ) STILL CAN’T WAIT! – HOPE YOU’VE GOT LOTS OF CREDIT FOR THIS COACH JOURNEY (WELL UNTIL YOU GET ON THE FERRY)! I really can’t wait to see him! I just want to get there!
