Wednesday 16^th I saw a bit more of Jake today than I did yesterday. The more I see him, the more I like him! I saw him 1^st at morning break and then at the end of lunch. Both times he just sat and talked with me for a bit. I got my kisses too!

I saw him most after school. We both stayed until 4:30pm but unfortunately, we weren’t alone. Hayley stayed too and whinged on about Andy so we had to advise her on what to do about him which is basically nothing. We also had a good cringe over her dodgy text messages from him! Jake said, “It’s the shy ones you have to watch.” Do I need to be worried then??!

He was also telling us about his phobia of phones. He said the just doesn’t like speaking to people on the phone and that he was put on the phone desk in an office for his work experience and he said it was awful. He also said that when he’s at work and the phone rings, he just puts the call straight through to someone else. To be honest, I’m quite glad about his little phobia because I don’t particularly like talking to people on the phone unless I know them really well. We’re both glad of the text message service!

I found out that for his A Levels he’s actually just doing Physics, Geography and Technology (Design, I think) now he’s dropped Art (which he was only doing at GCSE anyway).

I’ve had messages off him tonight too. I sent the first one saying. “SORRY ABOUT HAYLEY. I DIDN’T THINK SHE WAS EVER GOING TO SHUT UP ABOUT ANDY! SHE’S PROBABLY SAT BY THE PHONE NOW STRESSING COZ HE’S NOT PHONING! HAVE U GOT ANY FREES FRIDAY AM?”

I then got 3 in a row from him saying, “HI, IT’S ALRIGHT ABOUT HAYLEY, I’M GLAD YOU’VE GOT SUCH NICE FRIENDS! ANYWAY, IF SHE WASN’T IN THE CAR MY SIS WOULD HAVE BEEN GIGGLING AWAY! I’LL CONTINUE IN ANOTHER MSG…” You see, he gave me, Hayley and his sister Clara a lift home after school so we couldn’t really snog or anything when he dropped me off.

The next text said, “I’VE GOT LESSONS FRI AM BUT I WANT TO WAVE YOU OFF SO I’LL SKIVE! JUST BEEN TO A PARIS MEETING – ONLY 4 LADS GOING – I’M LUCK I’VE GOT U! JUST GOT YOUR MSG FROM MON…” (My message from Monday just said that I’d sort of told my parents and that I couldn’t stop smiling and thanks.)

His next text then said, “YOUR MOBILE IS SO SLOW!! LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY, THERE’S NO DOUBT IN MY MIND! LOADS N LOADS N LOADS OF LOVE, JAKE xxxxx : ) xxxxx”. That’s the best message I’ve had from him yet but he can’t possibly mean it, can he?

I sent him one then saying, “IT’S JUST A CRAP PHONE! I’M NOT IN THE MOOD 4 KICK BOXING… WAY 2 HAPPY NOW! LOVE U SOOO MUCH! IF THERE’S ONLY 4 LADS GOING, THAT MEANS MORE GIRLS SO Y R U LUCKY? xxx”. [Fishing…]

I like the reply, it said, “I’M LUCKY COS YOU’RE A BABE AND I WON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TRYING TO PULL SOMEONE JUST TO KEEP UP WITH MR SMOOTH BARNES!! LOADZA LOVE JAKE xxx”. I did send him another saying that it’s snowing (yeah!!) here and in France and that I wish he was coming with me but I’ve not had a reply.
