Sunday 18th Well, only 4 of us ended up going to Bolton Water Place today. Sarah, Lizzie, Emma and I. We all met up at Emma’s and were going to get the bus. I got to the bus stop and realised I didn’t have enough change so I left the other 3 and ran home. Luckily there was someone in and my mum ended up taking us all.
It was quite busy at the Water Place and we kept seeing lookalikes. We thought we saw Will Fernley, Ralph, Neil Kennedy, Jez and Cleggy (Tim Clegg). They weren’t, they just looked like them.
As soon as we got in the water. We saw 3 lads looking at us from the pool higher up. We thought we’d go up and see. One of ‘em was the Cleggy lookalike, only nicer. There was a little one who looked like Colin McKay (a lad in my sister’s year) and there was an older looking one who wasn’t fit with blonde hair.
After a while they started to come towards us a bit and showing off by fighting and stuff. At one point I was left with Lizzie and some other little lad came over and asked us both out for his mate. I told him to “f**k off” and he did.
Then the blonde one came over to me and said, “Both of them wanna go out with you.” I told him about the other little lad and how I was in popular demand and he went away again. I was quite chuffed but it was a bit pathetic considering I was hardly likely to see ‘em again.
When the other 2 got back, we started splashing water and the lads were too and we sort of ended up joining in with each other. We spoke a bit and found out that the little one was called Paul and was 13, the blonde one was Richard (or Moony as a nickname) and was 14 and the fitter one (the Cleggy one) was Andrew summit and was 14 too. They live in Farnsworth I think.
When we got out, they did too. When we went into the café, they were already there. I found out a horrible fact about Richard from the shirt he was wearing. A Newcastle shirt. The other 2 were Bolton fans and Andy had a Wanderers shirt on. That’s not too bad, my dad supports them. They’re sorta my 2nd team if Man Utd ever disappeared.
We went on our way to McDonald’s and guess what, they followed. They were being discreet about it though. Until one of ‘em yelled “Wait up!” anyway.
We then couldn’t find a bus so I phoned my mum and they waited with us for a bit. They’re coming next Sunday too probably so we said we’d see ‘em there. Hopefully Ralph and Freddie might come. Actually, that might be a bad idea coz we wouldn’t one anyone to get jealous, would we?! [Jealous of what exactly?]
