Waterworld, families, footy and Free Willy – 6th September 1997

Saturday 6th It’s been a pretty sad day today coz it was Princess Diana’s funeral. I watched most of it on TV. Mum was crying and I was finding it quite hard not to! I don’t usually cry at stuff (and I didn’t today) but I kept thinking about poor William and Harry.

I phoned Adam this evening. Mum and Dad have gone out to my primary school head teacher’s house. It’s midnight and they’re not back yet. We talked about lots of stuff again like WaterWorld, families, footy and Free Willy. [Ha! All the important topics of the day, then.]

I usually start up a conversation by asking a questions then he sort of asks it back. I had Abby listening in tonight instead of Emma!

I wonder what time Mum and Dad’ll be home. (Does that sentence need a question mark or not?)

BYE!
