Sunday 11th I don’t know how I’m going to cope with no more league football for the rest of the season! [I live.] Man Utd played their final game at home at Old Trafford this afternoon and after the match (they won 2-0 to West Ham and the goals were by Cruyff and Solskjaer) they received the FA Carling Premiership trophy for the 4th time in 5 years. I’m so pleased but I had to sit through the match with Emma.
She has only recently got into football. I think because it’s so she can keep up with the conversations me and Lizzie have but she doesn’t know a thing! [I was an expert, of course.] For instance, Abby and I asked her today who the best team in Scotland is (it’s Rangers) just to test her and she said, “I don’t really know but in my opinion it’s Newcastle.” We just laughed because she said it so matter-of-factly. She realised the mistake about Newcastle being in England.
She’s said stupid things about well-known players too that are sort of common knowledge but she has no idea! Like when she thought Ruud Gullit used to play for MUFC. It’s so daft that everybody’s heard she said it!
Anyway, as I said, no more league football. There are games that the England squad are playing, I suppose.
I’m going to have a bad week at school I think coz I’ve got tests all week and Drama and then on Thursday my form have got to do an assembly! Arrgh! I’ve got to introduce some of it. I have to say, “The next two scenes are on ageism which can affect both old people and young people. The first scene is on how it can affect teenagers.” [Jesus. Is that it?! Imagine how I would’ve felt knowing that, one day, I’d be stood on a stage reading out bits of my diary to an audience.]
I’m dreading it!
