I went to Camelot – 13th & 14th July 1996

Saturday 13th I will mention now because I forgot yesterday that Ralph keeps saying “Hello!” to me every time I walk past. I feel like I can say “Hi!” to Dougie & co now too.

Emma came over today and we went to the village gala. We met Hayley there too. Aaron Priestley, this tiny little twit, was there as well. He is so small! The rest of the time we just listened to music and lay in the barley field talking about the disco at Bangor again! Bye!

Sunday 14th I went to Camelot, a theme park, with Emma, Cat, Olivia and Freda. It was quite good apart from I kept losing everyone!

I went on The Rack twice which is this huge blue thing that goes up very high then splits in the middle and looks a lot worse than it is.

I went on The Sorcerer which is a small rollercoaster. I went on twice. I went on the log flume and got soaked and I went on The Galleon which is a boat that swings high. I suppose it’s the kind of ride the lads in their late teens think is for little kids until they get on it and start spewing over the sides!

I also bought a squid in slime which I have named Ralph. I was going to call it Dougie but I’ve already called 2 sheep that!

I have a new worry. It’s about Lucy’s birthday in August. She lives next door to Dougie and if I don’t go they’ll talk and tease. If I do go then there’s a chance of spotting him! Bye!
